Careers Fair 2023

We are excited to invite you to the Maiden Erlegh Trust’s Annual Careers Fair 2023.

The Careers Fair helps students to focus on the world of work, to begin to develop their ideas about employment and to make important choices about their futures.  The event is for students from Years 7 through to Year 13.  Year 8 students will be able to source helpful guidance for their GCSE options, and Year 11 for their A level options, as well as giving guidance on Careers choices for all students, whenever they leave.  School leavers who delay thinking about their career choice are likely to miss opportunities.  Please reinforce our advice that your child should take advantage of this large gathering of experts.

A varied number of representatives attend the Careers Fair, giving students access to information about a full range occupational opportunities.  To cater for all possible careers and destinations, we will have representatives from apprenticeship providers, local education institutes, employers from a wide range of different industries – including animal care, clinical research, engineering, finance, healthcare, uniformed services and many more.

A programme of representatives is provided below. Students may attend with their parents or unaccompanied.  If unaccompanied, we cannot accept responsibility for your child on the journey to and from the site.  Students do not need to wear uniform if they are attending this event.

Please note that parking is limited on site, and we would recommend walking, car sharing, or parking off site to help alleviate localized congestion.  However, please be mindful of our neighbours if you choose to park in the local area.

We hope you can attend this event with your children to speak to industry experts and explore the opportunities available to them so that they take control of their own career destinations.
