Condition Improvement Fund Success
Maiden Erlegh Trust secures £2m grant from the DfE to upgrade roof covering across three schools.
The Trust is pleased to announce that it has been successful in securing just over £2m in grant funding to replace aged and deficient roof coverings at three of its schools.
Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge will have its entire roof covering replaced, and there will be partial high-need replacement covering at Maiden Erlegh School (Earley) and Great Hollands Primary School.
Jonathon Peck, Chief Financial and Operations Officer said: "I am delighted that we have been successful in this round of the Condition Improvement Fund. The fund was heavily oversubscribed so the fact that we have been fully funded for three of our four projects is incredibly pleasing. My thanks go to the Estates team and our partners, AMR Consult and S2E for helping us to secure this funding. This positive outcome means we can conduct much needed improvement works at those schools over the coming months.
