Matt Grantham – BSc (Hons), MSc, PGCE, NPQH

Matt Grantham joined Maiden Erlegh Trust in September 2025 as Headteacher at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading. Before this, Matt worked as Deputy Headteacher, and more recently Head of School, at a large secondary school in Reading, where he had worked since 2013. Prior to working in Reading, Matt has worked in leadership positions in schools in Hounslow and Gloucestershire. Outside of work, Matt is kept busy by his three children, although likes to escape to the countryside and climb some mountains when he can, including Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon).
